Skills Training Education Programme (STEP)

Employability and jobs are very important, but quality and decent jobs are scarce commodities, especially in Lebanon and Jordan which have the highest unemployment rate in the Middle East.
The Islamic Development Bank, Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Foundation and SPARK have developed a 2-year regional programme that aims to support the 'Skills Training Education Programme' (STEP) in Jordan and Lebanon. The new programme aims to skill up entrepreneurs, modernise existing curricula, connect participants to the labour market, create sustainable jobs and offer training and internship placements, among many others.
