Kosovo represents a foundational chapter in SPARK’s history: it is one of the first locations, where business start-up centres have been established and vocational courses have been introduced. Currently facing a post-conflict transitional phase, Kosovo is home to multiple ethnic backgrounds. SPARK encourages educational and entrepreneurial opportunities for young citizens of Kosovo, including minorities, to ease economic tensions that may prevent peace-building. International Business College in Mitrovica (IBCM), partly founded by SPARK, serves as an example of inclusive education that brings together students with diverse backgrounds since 2010.
