NOC II: Empowering youth to lead, create, and drive change in their communities.

NoC II works in Ranya, Halabja, and Chamchamal, engaging young people along with teachers, social workers, and parents. Together with local schools and universities, they bring youth centres to life as viberent community hubs to learn, connect and take part in shaping their communities.

Through practical training in areas such as awareness campaigns, storytelling, social media, event organisation, and entrepreneurship, young participants build the skills and confidence to design and lead their own initiatives.

By creating space for constructive dialogue and encouraging youth-led action, NoC II helps young people shape their social, economic, and political futures with resilience and critical thinking.

NoC II programme pillars

Educators

NoC II empowers over 500 teachers, school staff, and parents across Ranya, Halabja, and Chamchamal to prevent radicalisation and support vulnerable youth. Through specialised training and the creation of nine Safe Spaces and three Centres of Excellence, educators are equipped to spot early warning signs, promote positive alternatives, and create inclusive environments where students feel safe, heard, and able to thrive.

Youth Campaigners

NoC puts young people at the heart of its mission. Whether they’re leading awareness campaigns, participating in emotional resilience workshops, or engaging in dialogue with policymakers, youth are not just beneficiaries — they are drivers of change. We provide the tools, training, and platforms for them to shape their own narratives, challenge harmful ideologies, and take ownership of their futures.

Local Committees

Every community is unique — and so are its challenges. That’s why NoC strengthens local structures like schools, community centres, and youth committees. From building referral systems to training educators and forming local PVE committees, we take a tailored approach that empowers communities to lead sustainable change. Our work is rooted in trust, collaboration, and the belief that prevention begins at home.
