In collaboration with financial institutions, loans were provided for start-ups, which empowered local entrepreneurs to embrace new economic opportunities.
Establishing business support centres and improving organised value chains generated fresh agricultural initiatives that have brought Yemen, South Sudan, and Burundi closer towards overcoming food insecurity. High-quality food products and other natural, nutritious items became available to entire communities, while agri-entrepreneurs who provide them became financially independent.
