SPARK has joined forces with four other European organisations (KIZ, PerMicroLab, Auto Ocupacio and Youth Business International) to create a partnership of over 30 public and private organisations that are currently supporting migrant entrepreneurship in 10 EU member states. The peer-exchange experience responds to the European Commission’s COSME objective: ‘to support actions that bring relevant players at national and regional levels into trans-national networks, to work together and to achieve better impact’.

The Network for Migrant Entrepreneurs to Scale Up and Grow (EMEN-UP) contributes to the current debate surrounding refugees, in light of the Syrian crisis, and offers effective solutions on how refugees can be successfully integrated into their new societies. The network focuses on how existing micro businesses, operated by migrants, can be transformed into SMEs to create jobs in Europe.
