Queen Máxima is attending IGNITE!
Her Majesty Queen Máxima will be attending the opening of the IGNITE! conference Doing business in Fragile States at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam Wednesday November 11, 2015. One of the central themes of the conference will be the role of entrepreneurship in crisis and fragile states. Queen Máxima attends the conference in her capacity as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA)
During the conference, the role of entrepreneurship in fragile states will be examined from different angles. Participants can choose from over 18 specialist sessions, ranging from workshops on financial services for entrepreneurs and investment management in SMEs, to attending a masterclass in diplomacy in fragile states. The conference aspires to unite a full spectrum of policymakers, researchers, the private sector, entrepreneurs, development practitioners and students.
The conference is being organised by SPARK, an NGO which works to develop higher education and entrepreneurship in fragile states. SPARK believes that by creating entrepreneurial opportunities for young, ambitious people, they become agents of change, contributing to the stability and economic prosperity of their societies.
To attend this event you MUST register online.
