MFS-II
MFS-II was a pivotal part of SPARK’s development as an expert organisation. Promoting entrepreneurship and job creation, MFS-II contributed to sustainable economic development in five post-conflict countries: Kosovo, Liberia, the Palestinian Territories, Burundi and Rwanda.
SPARK was the lead organisation of the 5 year programme that focused on alleviating poverty by creating jobs and improving the economy. Three pillars were central: supporting local partner organisations, developing their capacities and advocating for improved business enabling environments.
Exceptional results were achieved in collaboration with our local partner organisations: over 300 SMEs were supported and 1300 jobs created. Many of the organisations that we collaborated with in Palestine, such as Business and Technology Incubator (BTI), Leaders and the Business Women Forum, have gone on to become local leading experts in business incubation.
