SPARK IGNITE: Development of Agriculture Finance in Yemen Conference

SPARK, in collaboration with Yemen Microfinance Network (YMN), organized a conference on the 27th of March to introduce the future direction of Agriculture Finance in Yemen.
The theme of the conference meeting was “Development of Agricultural Finance in Yemen“. Following the opening speech by the Minister of Industry and Trade, presentations were given by SPARK, along with guest organizations like SMEPS, SFD, Mercy Corps on current activities and program direction on Agriculture Finance.
Among the attendees were government officials such as the Minister of Industry and Trade, international organizations such as UNDP, USAID, EU, GIZ, IFC, OXFAM, and local organizations such as the Central Bank of Yemen, CAC Bank, Al Amal Bank, Al Kuraimi Bank.
SPARK received considerable attention on their focus on Value Chain Development and was approached by several international and national organizations expressing interest to invite SPARK to work in their respective governorates.
