Umwuga-Akazi supports the youth (18-35) to access internship programmes and employment opportunities that match their skills and aspirations. Through partnerships with the private sector, the project promotes meaningful on-the-job learning and pathways to decent work.

We empower start-ups and scale-ups by providing tailored coaching, mentoring, and capacity-building programs. Entrepreneurs receive guidance to grow sustainable businesses, create jobs, and contribute to local economic resilience.

Umwuga-Akazi collaborates with Vocational Training Centers to integrate entrepreneurship into their teaching curricula and practices. By connecting training institutions with the realities of the labor market, the project ensures that graduates are better prepared to start their own businesses or find employment.
