Agricultural Product Fair in Pristina
Under the Trade facilitation Serbia- Kosovo project, SPARK, joined by the representatives of Serbian Chamber of Commerce and six companies from Serbia, took part in a two-day Agriculture Product Fair in Pristina, on 2nd and 3rd October. More than two thousand people, entrepreneurs and locals enjoyed the variety of products from Kosovo and abroad. It was in many ways a unique event, since it was the first time when Serbian companies were invited to join the Fair by the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce who were the official hosts.
Agricultural Product Fair in Pristina annually gathers major producers of raw agricultural materials as well as processed agricultural goods from Kosovo and region. Main goal of this this event is for the companies from Serbia to present their products and services and to discover potentials for market expansion and cooperation with local companies.
The representatives of agricultural companies from Serbia exhibited their promotional materials and products, in attempt to attract potential buyers and strategic partners in Kosovo. Multiple B2B meetings were held, and through the assistance of Spark representatives bold steps have been made towards future fruitful cooperation. Partnerships like this between companies from Serbia and their Kosovo counterparts would help all sides involved to extend their markets, learn from mistakes and successes and improve their businesses.
Except for the delegation of companies from Serbia, Macedonian and Albanian delegations also took part in the fair, with which the new contacts have been established and there are already plans for future Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings to be held.
