The Human Safety Net For Refugee Start-ups (THSN)
THSN is dedicated to providing refugees in Europe with the skills and resources to start up their own businesses and create new jobs.
Launched in France and Germany in 2017, THSN offers tailored educational workshops, technical training and financial support for refugee entrepreneurs. It focuses on recently arrived asylum seekers that demonstrate brilliant business acumen and who have a high chance of being granted asylum or subsidiary protection.
Turning the refugee narrative on its head, SPARK increases startups and reduces the number of failed businesses of this community by providing support services so that refugees may become self-sufficient and contribute to their host communities.
