In continuation to our mission, supporting the academic sector and creating opportunities in the Iraqi labour market, SPARK provides scholarships for forty students in the third stage of study at the University of Baghdad.
With the support of the European Union through the EU Regional Trust Fund in response to the Syrian crisis, the ‘MADAD’ fund, the scholarships will provide English language courses, personal development and entrepreneurial skills needed to connect students to the labour market. The scholarship will provide $210 in monthly stipend for the duration of the scholarship for one academic year.

- You must have successfully completed the second stage of college.
- You must be no older than 30 years.
- Young women are encouraged to apply for this program.
- The scholarship is available for students of the University of Baghdad only.
- The scholarship is available for all colleges of University of Baghdad except medical colleges.
- The scholarship is available for undergraduate students only and does not include masters, PHD or institution programmes.
- You are over 30 years old.
- You do not have a certificate or papers proving that you have finished high school.
- You are currently studying at any other university or are currently receiving a scholarship.
- You are unable to comply with the obligations and procedures of the University.
- Applicants must not have other family members receiving the SPARK scholarship at the same time.
