Home Akazi Keza
Burundi, known as the heart of Africa, has huge entrepreneurial potential. However, with a history of ethnic tensions, dependence on foreign aid and high youth unemployment, current and future business leaders need support.
Akazi Keza (meaning ‘nice job’ in Kirundi) boosts the skills of youth to be better aligned with the job market and builds the capacity of promising startups and existing businesses. With a focus on rural and peri-rural communities, the programme creates stability by fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems, supporting business incubators, providing decent jobs and boosting adequate income and revenue.
