Al-Fanar Media launches ‘Mishwar Taleb’: A competition for students
To celebrate the relaunch of Al-Fanar Media’s Scholarship Finder resource, they are holding a content creation contest for all Arab university students and recent graduates.
The ‘Mishwar Taleb’ competition is open between June 22nd and July 5th 2021. The winning entries will receive cash prizes and publication opportunities on Al-Fanar Media’s website. To enter, students and graduates need to comment “Mishwar” on the contest launching post on Facebook and create an article, story, video, animation, comic book, or any other digital content around their university experience.
For all the details on how to enter click on the link below.
Through this contest, Al-Fanar Media aims to provide undergraduate students with insights and experiences from other students to support their preparation for university. The contest also aims at giving Arab students a platform where their voices are amplified, their stories heard, and where they contribute to and lead the discussion around higher education.
Al-Fanar’s Scholarship Finder Resource is the leading Arab higher education online publication and hand picks high-quality scholarships for its listings. Each listing has all the scholarship details and all the information on how to apply.
“Students in the Arab world who seek scholarships are often searching websites that post thousands of scholarships every month, rendering the search for scholarships time consuming and confusing,” says Nadia El-Gowely, the Executive Director of Al-Fanar. “Our scholarships research team does the research and screening on behalf of the students and curates the best scholarships from around the world relevant to Arab students.”
If you are a scholarship–granting institution, we encourage you to send information about your programmes to alfanarmedia@alfanarmedia.org for inclusion in this resource.
