100 professionals striving for less HIV/AIDS die in a Malaysia Airlines crash
A Malaysia Airlines Boeing, flight number MH17, departed from Amsterdam with 298 people on board and crashed down yesterday afternoon in eastern Ukraine. No passenger survived the crash. More than half of the passengers were of Dutch descent, and about 100 of them were professionals going to a conference on HIV/AIDS in Melbourne. This is a great loss for this community, as prominent doctors, researchers and activists were on the flight. The circumstances surrounding the crash of flight MH17 are still partially unclear.
Our deepest condolences go to the families, friends and loved ones of all the passengers travelling with the MH17.
